Introduction

The current assessment updates the extensive reports by [1992Gho, 2004Gho, 2007Gho]. Therefore, the present one concentrates on more recent findings. For a more detailed discussion about the history of this system, see [2007Gho]. However, all available information on phases, isothermal and vertical sections, invariant reactions and thermodynamic data is contained in the present version and older key papers are as well discussed in some detail. Phase equilibria in the Al-Fe-Zn system have also been reviewed and continuously updated by [1992Rag, 2003Rag, 2008Rag, 2011Rag, 2013Rag] and also in [2004Koz, 2006Nak...
