Abstract

Alloys of the Mo-Ni-W system are applied as advanced materials for nanotwinned micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS). They show high strength, outstanding thermal stability, and good electrical conductivity. Especially sputter deposited Mo-Ni-W alloys are very promising due to their well-balanced mechanical properties and dimensional stability.
