Cd - Zr (Cadmium - Zirconium)

Condensed Phases

The maximum solubility of Cd in α-Zr at the peritectoid temperature 905°C is 17.5 at.%. A solubility of Zr in solid Cd was not found. The four compounds Cd₃Zr, Cd₂Zr, CdZr and CdZr₂ exist in the system. Data about their composition and crystal structure are summarized in Table 1.
