H - Lu (Hydrogen - Lutetium)

Condensed Phases

Lutetium combines with hydrogen to form lutetium dihydride (LuH2) which exhibits an fcc lattice (type CaF2) and the trihydride (LuH3) which has a hexagonal close packed lattice. The lattice parameters of the lutetium hydrides is dependent upon the hydrogen concentration [76Fro].
