Co - Se (Cobalt - Selenium)

Condensed Phases

The elements are practically immiscible in the solid state. Three liquid solutions exist in the Co-Se system (on the Co side (L1), cobalt selenide based (L2) and on the Se side (L3)). Cobalt forms the selenides: Co9Se8, CoSe1.03, CoSe1.13, CoSe1.30 and CoSe2. The composition and crystal structure of cobalt selenides are listed in Table 1.
