Fe - S (Iron - Sulfur)

Condensed Phases

The solubility of sulfur in solid iron is small (Fig. 1) [Mas]. Sulfur decreases the γ ↔ δ-transformation temperature and increases the α ↔ γ-transformation temperature of iron.
