Calcium exhibits a maximum solid solubility of 0.36 at.% in lead at the eutectoid temperature 326.2 °C which decreases to 0.05 at.% at 0 °C. The solid solubility of lead in calcium has not been determined. Equilibrium conditions for the existence of four phases have been established in this system. Composition and crystal structure data for these phases taken from [Mas]. are listed in Table 1. Other phases reported for this system are either non-equilibrium phases or the reported data for them are simply in error.
