Condensed Phases

The mutual solubility of the components in the solid state is very small. The compounds Cu2-xTe, Cu3-xTe and CuTe form in the Cu-Te system. In the concentration range 33-45 at.% Te and at temperatures below 400 °C the phase transformations are very complicated. A large number of Cu2-xTe and Cu3-xTe superstructures has been found. The phase compositions and structures are listed in Table 1 [Mas].
