Fe - P (Iron - Phosphorus)

Condensed Phases

Phosphorus is an α-stabilizer of iron and the maximum solubility of phosphorus in α-Fe at the eutectic temperature 1048°C is 5 at.%. The γ-Fe region is closed and the maximum solubility of phosphorus in γ-Fe at ~1150°C is 0.56 at.%[90Oka].
