Ni - Te (Nickel - Tellurium)

Condensed Phases

The solubility of nickel in tellurium is 0.022 at.% at room temperature [70Aba]. The solubility of tellurium in solid nickel has not been determined [Mas]. In the Ni-Te system, the following phases are formed: β-phase (β1 - at high; β1ʹ- at average and β2 - at low temperatures); γ-phase (γ1(NiTe0.775) at low; γ2 (NiTe0.85) - at high temperatures); δ-phase (NiTe2-x). Compositional and crystal structure data on the nickel tellurides are listed in Table 1 [Mas].
