Fe - Te (Iron - Tellurium)

Condensed Phases

The tellurium solubility in different iron modifications has not been established exactly. The tellurium solubility in α-Fe at 833°C was determined to be 1.5 at.% [74Ips2]. Tellurium is an α-stabilizator and the solubility in γ-Fe should be lower than in α-Fe. The iron solubility in solid tellurium is very small [90Oka].
