Condensed Phases

The mutual solubility of Co and Te in the solid state is very small [57Ari, 73Kle]. Two tellurides form in the Co-Te system, a β-phase with a maximum homogeneity range from 53 to 66 at.% Te and a γ-phase with a maximum homogeneity range from 67 to 70 at.% Te) [72Gef, 73Kle, 86Tsc].
