Cr - S (Chromium - Sulphur)

Condensed Phases

Sulphur solubility in solid chromium is very low. The liquid alloys are separated into three regions, chromium-rich (L1), intermediate (L2), and sulfur-rich (L3), as a result of two miscibility gaps with monotectic temperatures 1550 and 1300°C [Mas].
