H - Sc (Hydrogen - Scandium)

Condensed Phases

Hydrogen dissolves in scandium in considerable amounts and forms two hydrides. The scandium dihydride (ScH2) has cubical lattice (type fluoride) [60McC] and scandium trihydride (ScH3) has a hexagonal closed packed lattice and exists only at high hydrogen pressures (108-109 Pa) [78Bas].
