Condensed Phases

Plutonium has six allotropic modifications: α, β, γ, δ, δʹ and ε. It has been proposed that hydrogen has an insignificant influence on the transformation temperatures or melting point of plutonium. The limits of hydrogen solubility in plutonium are listed in Table 1 [55Mul, 68Mue].
