Cd - Pd (Cadmium - Palladium)

Condensed Phases

Cadmium forms a wide field of α-solid solution with palladium with a maximum solid solubility of 26 at.%. The solid solubility of palladium in cadmium has not been measured. In this system the phases γ-, γ1-, γʹ-, β- and β1 are well-established. Data on the compositions and crystal structures of these phases are given in Table 1 [Mas].
