Hg - Sm (Mercury - Samarium)

Condensed Phases

The solubility of samarium in solid mercury is very small. The solid solubility of mercury in samarium is expected to increase to several atomic percent Hg over the temperature range 400 to 900°C by analogy to the Pr-H system [Mas]. The samarium solubility in the liquid mercury is approximately 0.1 mass% at 150°C and 1 mass% at 450°C [66Kir].
