Fe - Zn (Iron - Zinc)

Condensed Phases

The maximum solubility of Zinc in α-Fe is 42 at.% Zn at the peritectic temperature of 782°C. The maximum solubility in γ-Fe is approximately 6 at.% Zn. The solid solubility of iron in zinc is negligible.
