Cd - Pt (Cadmium - Platinum)

Condensed Phases

Cadmium dissolves in Platinum to form a wide field single-phase solid solution. The solubility of platinum in solid cadmium has not been determined. The following six compound phases exist in the Cd-Pt system: aʹ1(a), aʹ, x(PtCd2), g2, g1 and g. Data on the compositions and crystal structures of these phases are listed in Table 1 [Mas]
