Condensed Phase

The mutual solubility of the elements in the solid state is very small. The solubility of nickel in magnesium is ≤ 0.04 at.%, even at 500°C, and the solubility of magnesium in nickel ≤ 0.2 at.% at 1100°C [85Nay].
