Literature data up to 1987 are collected in [1987Gsc]. In the same review a calculated Au-Gd phase diagram, obtained by a thermodynamic modelling is reported, based on the assumptions that the liquid is a subregular solution, the solid phases have no significant solid solubility, the ΔC_p values of compounds are all zero. More recently phase equilibria in the Au-Gd system has been studied by [1996Sac] (see Table 1).
