[1990Kon] reports the eutectic point at 2.25 at.% and at 628°C and the liquidus temperature of an alloy with 3.42 at.% Eu, which is 754°C. In [1988Gsc, 1991Oka] the literature data concerning compositions and structures of binary compounds are reviewed. Thermodynamic properties of various alloys and compounds were studied by different methods (Table 1) in [1985Col, 1986Kob], and were calculated for different compositions in [1996Yif]. The metastable extended solid solubilities of Eu has been evaluated in [1995Nin]. A tentative phase diagram of the Al-Eu system was constructed [1991Oka] taking into account the experimental data of [1990Kon] and [1985Man...
