The Ce-Cu system was assessed by [1988Sub, 1994Sub1] with an intensive literature survey up to 1986. The thermodynamic and structural properties experimentally determined after 1986 are listed in Table 1. Heat of formations and heat of fusion of CeCu₂ and CeCu₆, both intermetallic compounds with a congruent melting, are derived from calorimetric measurements of H_T-H₂₉₈ for both compositions and from the integral heat of mixing of liquid Ce and Cu [1989Nag, 1989Qi, 1993Fit]. A few new experimental data were reported by [1994Fit]. Subsequently, [1996Zhu...
