Literature Data

The Al-Y system was assessed by [1989Gsc] comprising literature data up to 1988. A thermodynamic optimization was also undertaken by [1989Ran], and there was good agreement with most of the measured thermodynamic data, with the exception of the enthalpy of YAl₃ of [1960Sny]. This calculation was used as a basis for the input into the ternary optimization of Al-C-Y [1995Gro]. A subsequent review was by [1997Fer].
