Literature Data

There are two main problems on experimentally constructing the Ga-Ta binary system. The large difference between the melting point of Ga (29.74°C) and Ta (3020°C) causes substantial Ga volatilization, and phase transitions reported as slow solid state reactions, such as with Ta3Ga2 on cooling, make their determination difficult.
