A ternary phase AgAsEu (see Table 1) was found using X-ray powder diffraction. The alloy was prepared by melting the elements in a corundum crucible under an argon atmosphere. After pulverization the sample was annealed for 14 h at 1100°C. The magnetic behavior of AgAsEu was investigated in the temperature range of 80 to 290 K [81Tom].
