Introduction

Using thermal analysis and X-ray techniques the pseudobinary isopleth AgCl-FeCl₃ has been determined by Safonov and Mireev [79Saf]. Chloride mixtures - either of analytically pure or commercially pure grade - have been remelted and studied in evacuated sealed vessels.
