Introduction

A ternary compound with the composition CaAgAs was prepared by heating a mixture of the elements in a corundum crucible up to 1100°C in an argon atmosphere [79Mew] or in a tantalum crucible by heating up to 1200°C and annealing between 700 and 750°C [87Ian].
