Introduction
Silver was found to stabilize a ternary compound with a BaAl4-type of structure and with a
small homogeneous region extending to 600°C from CeAg0.60Ga3.40 to CeAg0.82Ga3.18
[86Gri1]. From X-ray powder Guinier data, the atomic order was reported to be isostructural with CePdxGa4-x
(single crystal study [86Gri2]).
