A ternary phase AgAsTe2 with semiconducting properties was reported and found to melt at 325°C [58Wer]. This compound could not be confirmed by [91Oll]. However, two other ternary phases, AgAs3Te5 and Ag11AsTe7 were reported, whereas a solid solubility between the latter and Ag7Te4 may exist [91Oll]. The isopleth Ag2Te-As was found to be pseudobinary [76Gat, 78Gat] by thermal, X-ray and metallographic methods.
