Introduction

[58Tel] investigated the pseudobinary section of CuBr-AgBr using micro-optical observation of the transparancy for delimitation of single and two phase fields at various temperatures. The phase diagram of [58Tel] also includes earlier measured points of [58Jos]. [63Fre] confirmed this section using X-ray diffraction and microscopical observations with slightly corrected phase boundaries. [64Noe] measured the specific heat of an alloy with 16.67 at.% Ag, 50 at.% Br (33 mole% AgBr) and confirmed the transformation temperatures.
