Introduction

The section AgBr-AgI was investigated by different groups using thermal analysis [06Moe, 49Sta, 70Nat, 84Kha, 84Tak], electrical conductivity measurements [14Tub, 70Nat, 81Sha], crystallography [49Sta] and X-ray diffraction [49Sta, 70Nat, 84Tak]. While [06Moe, 14Tub, 81Sha, 84Kha] only presented information on parts of the section, [49Sta, 70Nat, 84Tak] showed the whole diagram. The agreement of different investigations is generally good, except for [70Nat], who differed greatly with the other works. This discrepancy seems to be explained by [84Tak...
