Introduction

The section AgCl-GdCl3 was investigated using DTA [83Bla]. Purities of the materials used were not reported, and only the melting point of AgCl was reported to be identical with the literature value. The samples were tempered at a temperature about 20 K below the eutectic temperature and only the effects of the first heating were used for evaluation.
