Introduction

The pseudobinary section AgCl-BaCl2 of the system Ag-Ba-Cl was determined by thermal analysis and X-ray methods [82Bla]. Nineteen ternary alloys were prepared by melting the anhydrous salt components under vacuum in silica capsules followed by annealing below the eutectic temperature.
