Introduction

The pseudobinary section AgCl-HgCl₂ of the salt system Ag-Cl-Hg was determined by thermal analysis and X-ray techniques [82Bla]. 19 ternary alloys were prepared by melting the anhydrous component salts under vacuum in silica capsules, followed by annealing at 147°C.
