Introduction

The isothermal section at room temperature has been studied by X-ray and metallographic methods, applied to about 190 alloys [58Che, 65Che]. The solid solubility of Al and Sn in (Ag) and the lattice parameters were determined using the same methods [75Bar]. Except for the Ag-rich corner, the liquidus temperatures were measured by DTA [71Mas].
