Introduction

A ternary phase of the AuCu₃ type was reported by [70ElB] (Table 1). This phase was observed in an alloy of the composition Ag₁₄As₁₄Pd₇₂ after annealing for 12 h at 600°C together with 10% PdAs₂ and 20% (Pd). The substitutional solid solution limit for Ag in PdAs₂ was reported to be 0.05 at.% by [66Ben].
