[76Ihr] studied low-temperature transformations in CeAgxIn1-x alloys (x = 1.0 - 0.2). At 23°C a CsCl structure, cP2, is retained over the whole composition range. The lattice parameter increases linearly from a = 378.0 pm for AgCe to a = 387.6 pm for CeAg0.2In0.8. At 40 K the CeAgxIn1-x alloys have a tetragonal structure, the axial ratio increasing with increasing In content. [77Ihr] examined the temperature dependence of the cubic CsCl to tetragonal transformation for CeAgxIn1-x alloys for x = 1.0 to 0.9. The transformation temperature decreases from 100 K at x = 0.9 to 23 K at x = 0.98.
