Introduction

Using X-ray diffraction [82War] investigated the expansion of the binary CePd3 phase into the ternary field, replacing Pd by Ag. The alloys were prepared by arc melting under an argon atmosphere, using premelted alloys of Pd + Ce together with Ag. The purity of the starting elements was 99.9%. The sample powders were annealed at 700°C for 7 days.
