Introduction

Two ternary phases were reported [64Kom, 67Tho]. The phase AgBS was found in two modifications (Table 1). Both were detected in the temperature range of 800-1250°C. A transition temperature was not mentioned [64Kom]. The other ternary phase Ag₁₀B₂S₈ is isotypic to Cu₁₀B₂S₈ (Table 1) [67Tho]. Crystal structures were investigated by both authors using powder X-ray methods.
