Literature Data

This important ternary system, acting as the basic phase diagram for an understanding of gold dental alloys, has been studied for the past 94 years. A detailed assessment of the literature has been made by [1988Pri1, 1988Pri2] with respect to the liquidus and solidus surfaces, the solvus surface arising from the solid state miscibility gap in the Ag-Cu system, and the ternary equilibria at low temperatures arising from the ordered phases in the Au-Cu system.
